Koo Wee Rup is a town in Victoria, Australia, 63 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Shire of Cardinia local government area. Koo Wee Rup recorded a population of 3,579 at the 2016 Census. Prior to December 1994 the town was part of the Shire of Cranbourne.
