WORST GROOMER EVER!!!!!!!!
I agree with Ashika J, Darla is the worst groomer I have ever come across. If I could leave 0 stars I would! I have had Old English Sheepdogs for decades and they have always been groomed professionally. My dog came out looking like a scarecrow!! Wispy and uneven. See the photos below: the first 4 are Glossy Pooch the other 2 are my "backyard groomer " You can see the difference in comparison to my regular clipper who moved to Queensland who Darla said was a "Backyarder" Darla may have 20 years experience but that doesn't count if you're doing it badly in the first place. I am sure she will say my dog was matted as she does with anyone who complains. I called her the next day to give her the opportunity to rectify the damage she had done. That was months ago and I haven't heard a thing even though she promised to come back and make it right. She was recommended by neighbours but they ALL have short haired dogs. Which is fine if you just want a wash and nail clip. However I needed a professional clipper, and she was not even close! I belong to a dog community and another woman called me recently, saying she had booked Darla to clip her dogs and was disgusted at the job. I gave her the name of a local groomer I have found who is amazing and less expensive who she is going to use in the future. As I said, I would NEVER use Glossy Pooch again! OR maybe, if I was desperate, and I had a short haired dog who needed a wash. But maybe not even then, as she has not returned even though she promised to fix my dogs groom! (which frankly, I do not think she is capable of doing) She talks the talk but unfortunately cannot walk the walk!. Look at the photos and make up your own mind.
